After spending a long and difficult time analyzing the current situation at Ski Paradise Acapulco, considering both internal and external factors, and discussing possibilities for moving forward, and putting every effort into rebuilding,  we have concluded that we won’t be able to operate next season in Acapulco.

 

The uncertainty regarding factors such as security, infrastructure, finances, traveling logistics, etc. doesn't allow us to open next season because we simply can’t guarantee our guests the 5-star experience that we are known for. 

 

We will give Acapulco some more time to recover from the tragedy.  We all wish that we could have opened for a legendary 35th year, but even though that’s what we worked very hard for, we couldn’t jeopardize factors such as the safety of our guests and staff at any cost.

 

We suggest to you, our supportive friends at Water Ski Mexico at LaGuapa, who also offer a 5-Star Water Ski Vacation with a concept originally inspired by Ski Paradise.  They have provided  us with a “new winter home” to offer to our coaches, and a suggestion for a Water Ski experience in Mexico where we can feel proud and confident to direct our guests.  If you’ve been with us at Ski Paradise in the past, you’re more than likely to encounter some familiar faces there including Frankie and Enrique present for most weeks to provide their world famous massages!
